Tubercolusis Or Sin? Which has lasting consequences

Andrew Speaker and Atlanta lawyer, 31, made headlines during June first week, when he traveled on an international commercial flight with a rare form of drug-resistant tuberculosis.
Tuberculosis travels through air, infects others who come in contact with affected air. Infected through the air we breathe, air could be contaminated. If a person is infected with tuberculosis,it will effect his/her health and could lead to death, which is physical. But more wasting disease is the sin which has eternal consequences. If TB contamination could travel through air, sin is infected by birth (Psalm 51:5) ,by the things that we see, hear and do. sight, thought, word, and deed could be affected and impaired because of sin. What is sin, the basic definition which the scripture teaches is the sin is lawlessness (Disobedience). (I John 3:4).
TB has lot of effects, it can spread to others, cripples a person, can even kill a person. But more worse and eternal are effects of the sin...

Effects of sin are

1. Sin separates from God. (Isaiah 59:2).

2. Sin breaks the fellowship with God (through hindered prayer). (Ps 66:18).

3. Sin hardens the heart. (Heart disease) (Heb 3:13).

Question Mark ??????????????

In response to the Virginia Tech shooting, I would like to share few thoughts as the Lord has put on my heart. This Massacre has deeply impacted the community, directly the lives of those who grieve for their loved ones and marred deep scars on the society, biggest crime scene in US history.

It is gross evil we have seen and experienced, which will be writ large in pages of crime history. It is quite obvious and healthy to question why? Few struggle with more deeper questions of life and others just pass it. What made Cho Sueng to do it? more bigger questions like How can a good God allow this kind of an evil? Where is God when it happened?

Question Mark life:

A question mark life, life of a person does not know who he is! A very important question we all struggle at one point of life is, who am I? and out this one questions flows more deeper one What should I be doing with my life?

Who am I? is the single most question very heart is looking for and desperately tries to find the answer at various points in life through various avenues. Question mark life is looking for answers, truly who am I? a creature who has intellect and try to find meaning and purpose by doing things. Sure enough after some futile efforts working on few projects we too will agree with preacher who said “Vanity of vanities, all is vanity”. Who in the world am I? True purpose and meaning to one’s life comes by knowing the creator, who is reason why we are all here and reason is completely and correctly can be understood. The purpose is loud and clear through the truth which proclaims, who we are, we are eternal beings created in the image of the Living God (Gen 1:27, Colossians 1:16), who have a purpose to love the maker and loved by him (John 3:16, Matt 22:37) and live in continual fellowship with him through his son Christ Jesus (I Corinthians 1:9) who is the radiance of his glory (Hebrews 1:3), Lord of lords and very God (Rev 19:16, John 10:31).

How can I know the maker and have a relationship with him? He is the only infinite being and perfect, in Holiness, in wisdom, power, righteous and justice. Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also." John 14:6. Know God by knowing Christ. If we look into our own thought we can know how our own thoughts accuse us, as we have to pay the fine for the sin which is nothing but death. We all need the redemption from sin that leads to death, which came be by obedience of Jesus Christ who being God became man lived a perfect life fulfilled all the law and died as a punishment for my sin and yours and rose on the third day and ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father God to pray.

Is your life a question mark? There is hope by knowing Christ Jesus as personal savior.
